What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. Our use of cookies is intentionally minimal and is aimed at making the site work reliably and improving it.
Cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Required for the site to function (session, security, disclaimer acknowledgement). | Session / 1 year |
| Analytics — Google Analytics 4 | Aggregated usage data: page views, sessions, device, approximate location. We do not link this to identifiable individuals. | Up to 14 months |
| Preferences | Stores your acknowledgement of our opening disclaimer so it is not shown on every visit. | 1 year |
How to control cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings — all modern browsers allow you to refuse all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or be prompted before each cookie is set. Note that disabling cookies may break parts of the site (for example, the disclaimer will appear on every visit).
Do Not Track
Our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) honours the standard "Do Not Track" browser signal. If you enable Do Not Track in your browser, your visit will not be recorded in our analytics.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if we add or change a cookie category. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
